Honeybees eat more than eight pounds of honey to produce just one pound of beeswax. The bee produces flakes of beeswax from four pairs of glands on her abdomen. The beautiful maize color of beeswax comes from the honey and pollen the bees collect.

Jodi Bee candles are made from capping wax only. Capping wax is made from honey collected this season from fields of wildflowers and flowering trees growing wild in southeast Michigan.

 Solid Hand Dipped Beeswax Candles

• Have the natural sweet scent of honey
• Burn very clean . . . without dripping or smoking
• Burn long! A beeswax candle is very slow burning because of its high melting point and natural molecular characteristics.
• Are pesticide free and give off no harmful fumes
• Come in pairs with wicks attached for hanging. They can be cut apart for burning. Trim the wick to 1/4” before each burning.
• Available in 8” and 12” tapers with 3/4” to 7/8” base.

 Rolled Honeycomb Beeswax Candles

Handmade from sheets of tinted honeycomb beeswax. Our honeycomb rolled candles can be custom made to order in almost any size. The base can be molded to fit any size holder smaller than the candle base.

The wicks are attached. Cut apart to burn and trim wicks to 1/4” before each burning.
